This application was designed to adapt the work done with with the Mapping Revolutionary Boston Flash Interface for mobile devices. The project explores ways to geographically sort and display historical information about revolutionary-era Boston; it is intended both to appeal to younger students and to casual tourists. As a GPS-enabled iPhone application, this limb of the project increases access to our historical data, allowing users to read or review information on-site. In the fall and winter of 2009, I worked as a intern earning class credit to develop this fully functional iPhone application.
The Dynamic Rehearsal environment was created as a group final project for a course in Tangible User Interfaces. The bulk of the project is an application that runs on the Microsoft Surface, serving as a rehearsal aid for theatrical production teams. I was personally responsible for much of the interface design and development, as well as helping with the C# and XAML and creating and maintaining the project’s website.
The program was created to display a user’s work history, based on the information provided. Assigned as a final project in CS 230: Data Structures.
