At the moment, I’m finishing off my undergraduate years at Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA. I’m studying Media Arts and Sciences, an interdisciplinary program in studio art and computer science. I’m currently working on an honors thesis about the intersection of journalism and the Internet, as well as studying iPhone programming and human-computer interaction. In the department, I work as a multimedia design and programming tutor and digital assistant.
Outside of class, I’m the editor-in-chief of Legenda, our yearbook, and I stage manage a few theatrical productions a year. I’ve also had a number of internships, most recently with the Boston Historical Society and with Cocosa, in London.
In case it wasn’t obvious, I’m a huge nerd, pretty much covering everything from computers to design to theater to television. Like most designers, I border on obsessive compulsive, I spend too much time with my MacBookPro, and I can’t get enough coffee.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise: the best way to reach me is via email, at rebecca@rebecca-e-spitzer.com.
